What is Traded in The Forex Market?

The answer of course money. The currency is always pairs in traded . For example Eur vs U.S. Dollar (EUR / USD) or Pound vs. Yen (GBP / JPY).

Unlike the stock market, forex trading has no central office. Forex as a market that is "Interbank" or OTC "Over-The-Counter" is a continuous trading period of time following the trade of each country and can be assumed that the foreign exchange market is open for 24 hours, 5 days a week.

If you know, all the currencies can be traded. But there are some certain currencies are very popular who driving all the currencies in the world economy.




Every each currency symbol has always 3 digits, with first 2 digits is the name of the country and the 3rd is the name of its currency.
